Thierry Falise - Bio

Based in Bangkok, Belgian photojournalist Thierry Falise has covered South-East Asia and beyond since the late eighties, in both features and news reporting, as a correspondent for Gamma photo agency and today for Bangkok-based Onasia photography agency. 
His reportage appeared in a number of publications such as: FRANCE: Courrier International, L’Express, Le Figaro Magazine, Le Monde, Grands Reportages, Libération, Marie-Claire, Marie-France, Le Nouvel Observateur, Le Point, Paris-Match, Point de Vue, Voici, VSD... He published three books in French: a novel in 2005, “Les Petits Généraux de Yadana” (Anne Carrière Editions), the first biography in French of the Burmese pro-democratic leader Aung San Suu Kyi in 2007, “Le jasmin ou la lune” (Florent Massot Editions), and a document on the cyclone Nargis in 2009, "Le châtiment des rois" (Florent Massot).
